Winter Skin
The winter months can be challenging for skin health, but following a routine will help improve skin condition. My top tips are to use a cream-based cleanser to gently remove impurities and makeup, then tone with orange water or a glycerine-rosewater mix. Apply hydration oil or serum, then moisturiser, as layering helps lock in moisture better than a single heavy application. Do not skip sun protection—even in winter, SPF 15 or higher is necessary. Staying hydrated is important; if plain water is hard to drink in winter, try hot water with lemon, cucumber, or herbal tea. A wipe of Vaseline on cheeks helps to prevent wind chaffing.
