Caring For A Perm

Following the perming process, it is important to avoid shampooing the hair for 48 hours. This allows the perm to settle in its new form and prevents the perm from dropping out or losing the perm effect. Hair can be wetted by a water spray bottle followed by a spray of leave in conditioner to help curl bounce into shape again.

To help control a new perm overnight, use a silk or soft hair band and tie your hair loosely at the back of head, in the morning simply use a water spray bottle and a conditioning spray and shake out your gorgeous curls.

Regular cutting will keep the permed springy avoiding those split ends regular conditioning is important to help prevent frizz.
