Important Guidelines for re-opening the Salon – please read!
Throughout the pandemic the hairdressing council have been in regular communication with the government and health advisors exploring the legislation and guidelines to ensure all salons are working safely.
Although the salon is not re-opening until approximately July, Lucia is working hard on getting the salon prepared to welcome our clients back.
The guidelines so far are:
If you are showing any signs of coronavirus, please do not visit the salon. We will be running strictly by appointment only. No walk in bookings will be allowed at this time. Unplanned visitors will not be permitted entry into the salon.
Restrictions on space – as the salon is quite small and narrow it means that only two to three clients will allowed in the salon at any one time. This will keep all clients 2 meters apart. As you all know we are used to a much higher foot fall so patience will have to be a virtue.
On arrival your temperature will be taken via infrared thermometer.
Hand sanitizer must be used upon arrival; we will be providing this for all clients.
Do not forget to bring your own bottle of water. We cannot provide any drinks or magazines at this time. Please use the toilet before leaving home as the toilet will be out of use during this phase.
You must wear a mask to the salon; we have limited supply, so we ask for you to wear your own safety mask.
On arrival you will be directed to the styling chair, avoiding touching items or fixtures as much as possible whilst present in the salon.
Talking will be restricted to only a consultation which must be carried out through the mirror. It will be difficult for us as we are so used to talking so you will receive a telephone consultation prior to your booking.
All members of staff will be wearing full PPE including face masks, facial shields, gloves and aprons. These will be changed after every client. The work stations will be fully cleaned after each client.
